Why did HTC re-sell it? They could have made more selling it to Verizon/Sprint directly right? Someone was telling me that there was a reason behind it, just never got around to telling me.
#8- Cingular does not do that on purpose. The reason behind that is due to error ordering online. Sometimes it's pricing, sometimes when trying to oder it's not going through, or several other things. This is not just with cingular, it is all companies. It happened with the sidekick 3 when they had the 1 year pricing, the same as no contract pricing and they had to take it off completely to correct it. The 3125 has been on website from when I got home from work 8ish- til now 11ish EST.
Well, like it said it the sept cingular lineup grid, this would be coming out. I am finally going to move my TDMA ATT account and bring it to cingular for this phone.
#2 : Start planning what you are going to say to the rep, as it will not be out this month (8525). They don't even have the version for cingular. The Product Mngmnt Team may have it, but not the ANS group, they are using the European version with the camera in front. Oct or November it will be out.
First off, sorry to burst everyones bubble, but the 8525 will not be released this month. It may actually come out oct/nov. Data support reps have not even played with the devices yet, but a few of the managers have. The 3125 should be coming out this month, as long as everything goes well with the testing. The nokia E62 will be coming out, don't know when. The other phones, I really don't care about so I don't even bother finding out.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
