Strange feeling of Deja-Vu
http://www.umpcportal.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=308

which I'm very happy about because our design was for the ideal UMPC and apart from 1024x600 and mouse pointer, its almost there!

Price? My guess is around $1500 but you'll see it it sold through the normal HTC channels which means 1/3 prics and 24 months contract. Significant!

I managed to put all the specs together:

Images are there too.
Don't you just love cache's!

Move along please. Nothing to see here.

Credit definitely goes to the GBM team at CES who took that image. Original source is here:

Carrypad.

I've been working on a review of the Kohji.

First impressions, gallery and unboxing are already up.

The device is damn impressive. Quiet, light, small. Expensive too. Its only available as an import at the moment.

I have added all the specs to a datasheet on Carrypad.
Will keep it up to date. http://www.carrypad.com/product/product.php?id=56
Should help people to get the latest info.

Looks like the pics have been taken down.
As far as I know, the specs quoted here are wrong.
My understanding: 5" screen. VGA, 8GB drive. 624Mhz Xscale. TV-out. GPS built in,HSDPA.

Its a real shame about the keyboard. Maybe it has a magnetic one like the HTC Athena!

Wifi and Bluetooth appear to be included. No USB sticks required.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
