yea i guess your right. i remembered there being an interest fee at K-Mart but i didn't work in that department anyway so i'm not surprised i didn't know (Sporting Goods). makes alot more sense that way lol
i used to work at K-Mart a couple years back. i remember we got super busy around the holidays almost solely because of the layaway department. it's convenient for some, but honestly, like the article says, why would i leave it at the store and make payments on it when i can put it on a credit card and take it home and make payments on it? i mean you get similar interest at both and there are still payment deadlines on both.

it just amazes me that the program hasn't died out yet since they do almost exactly the same thing except you get your product immediately on credit card. i actually just paid off my new desktop like that. i had it for 4 months before i had fully paid for it.

i was thinking the same thing. nobody likes a little tattle tale Joystiq!
cool. i don't really use facebook all that much but i guess it will be cool to show all my actual cool facebook friends how much of a nerd i am.....

facebook was so much better when it was college only IMHO.
yea thats not true man. u need a Windows Live ID which u can get using any old email. same one u would use for Xbox Live.
yea an app that doesn't auto-refresh. i usually just use m.facebook.com instead of the app on my TP2 just for the simple fact that it's kind of crazy i have to keep hitting refresh to see updated data. it should do it automatically or at least have a timer option.
glad it finally has a date. i still wouldn't be surprised if it got delayed again but hey it's progress at least. i've curbed my gaming to almost nothing now since i'm trying to graduate college but this is one of those games that i absolutely NEED to have regardless of what is going on with school.
it is. when it went to 6.5 they changed the name from Windows Mobile to Windows Phone. pretty unnecessary if you ask me but i think they are trying to separate themselves from the hate that people spread about WinMo. it's personally my mobile OS of choice and i'm patiently awaiting my Verizon Touch Pro 2 to become a "Windows Phone" when they finally get around to releasing the 6.5 update for it.
my coins are on the sewers.
they really need to take a look at what they did the first time around, what everyone liked about 2nd and put it together for the 3rd. the first had a better story (i like the narration better) and the weapon wheel made it feel more like an Insomniac game. and i really liked the WWII setting of the 1st as opposed to the mostly futuristic sci-fi tone of the 2nd. i know the 1st was supposed to be futuristic as well but it felt more like "alternate WWII" than a straight up sci-fi game.

and the competitive multiplayer of the 1st was SO much more fun than in the 2nd. while the online co-op on the 2nd was super addictive. and i really missed the co-op story mode of the first.

so i guess my list for things 3 should have are:

Things from R1: Campaign, Weapon wheel, narrator, campaign co-op, competitive multiplayer

Things from R2: Visuals, online co-op, newer weapons

and the thing i hope the most they don't bring back from 2 are those damn Chameleons. OMG i hated those things!

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
