It would be scary if half of you actually knew what you were talking about. As far as working Internationally,,, if you can get on an AP via WiFi with the phone you can make any call you wish back to the states FREE. It is the WWW fool. As for DT T-Mobile's parent company wanting to charge for Int'l roaming, that is a silly comment. Most International roaming partners I.E. Orange, Vodafone DoKoMo, China Mobile, TIM and hundreds of others have no affiliation with DT.
For the Verizon lover above. Makes me think of an old 90's tune. "don't believe the hype".... Have you ever walked a mile on T-Mobile's network?
And for the "speed demon" above who must have his 3G network so his page can download on his Verizon "Q" 5 milliseconds quicker than it does on my Dash because it lacks a real Browser. Good Luck with that dude. Anybody seriously trying to web surf on a mobile device simply has way too much time on their hands. Do yourself a favor and boot up your laptop. Very few sites out there are truly mobile device friendly regardless of how fast you get there.....
And yes you quessed it I am a bit biased but I have also worked in wireless since inception and I love to watch the banter among the clueless. CDMA vesus GSM... Folks it isn't even a contest. Sit back and watch GSM grow. http://www.gsmworld.com/news/press_2006/press06_29.shtml
TMO and Cingy soon to be Ole Blue again "at&t" will be eating EVDO and REV Whatever for lunch dinner and a midnight snack....
For the reader crying about Cingular. Don't believe the hype about more BARs everywhere. Get with a real carrier that cares about its customers. TMO will help you let go gently... You are soon to be squeezed back into the ATT BLUE mold anyway and I am sure that'll be a great experience for you.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
