Still cant touch SCARLET...
comes with :

-backlight bleeding
-gradient issues

probably same quality that they have in the 24" imacs, which is horrible...
Design - ugly
New specs - disappointing
New price - too expensive
Apple stock - going down...
Whats up with the the new 15" macbook pro and 1440 x 900 pixels resolution ? are they insane? I`m suppose to be able to use FCP2 and edit 1080p video on 1440 x 900 resolution?
the 15" macbook pro still has the 1440 x 900 pixels resolution... WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!! how is it PRO if i cant do 1080p VIDEO editing (mind you 1080p is a norm in every video coming out today)
I LOVE it how the new macbooks have the 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and the new macbook pro 15" still has 1440 x 900 pixels. WAY TO GO APPLE!!! new video card but same resolution... WHEN WILL THE MACBOOK PRO 15" BE able to play full 1080p video ?????????? i guess maybe next year... GREAT UPDATE..
$1599 for a MACBOOK??? are they insane???? this is sick! what about the 24" LCD screens? are they going to have the same issues that the 24" iMACs had? gradient , backlight and stuff? better not...
"$700 more affordable" ???? not true because the cheapest macbook pro is $1999 and to get the same specs you need to buy the $1599 macbook which is only $400 less not $700 as they claim.. WHAT A SHAME... they are really in need of money... I`m not going to be buying any of them.. It's a rip off
Apple is starting to annoy the hell out of me.. the quality of their products is becoming an ongoing issue in every product they release. Whats going on?? IMAC have screen issues (all of them) MBP have screen issues as well now the new Iphones.. Im sick of this crap...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
