Well Sirius just managed to take an enthused customer and turn them into a pissed off, apathetic customer. Launching this "dead on arrival" joke of an iPhone app for satellite radio was the ultimate insult. I was one of the beta testers for Starplayr and it rocked. Sirius bitched and nixed the approval of the application to come out with their own app. Then the deliver a big pile of steaming dog sh*t. And yeah, I am a Howard fan and this is the ultimate blunder to not have his channels on the app. You are giving away the app, charging and extra $3 a month for it and you can't put the "most important person to the service" (in Mel's words) on the app?

Just sold all of my Sirius stock this morning. Good going Mel, piss off your customers in a time of recession.

Sirius=EPIC FAIL
Step 1: Legalize drugs and prostitution. Step 2: Tax drugs and prostitution. Problem solved.

Watch please?
I would not execute any bail out whatsoever. I would quickly move to legalize drugs, prostitution and tax the hell out of them. Further, I would eliminate the current tax structure to one of a consumption tax. The more you spend the more you help balance the budget. This way, over half of the population that does not currently pay taxes - will be paying an equitable tax on what they consume. This way, the next generation who is going to be saddled with the debt anyway, can get an early start on paying the outstanding balance. Oh, and spending - I would limit all expenses necessary to run the government, infrastructure, etc of the collected consumption taxes to 20% and have the other 80% pay down the national debt.

Am I entered? Am I entered? Hello, is this thing on?
Love the site - if a** kissing helps!
This poses a good question. If I cancel AT&T service (because it is horrible in my area) and pay the $175 "cancellation fee", can I still use the iPhone as an iPod and wifi browser? Apparently not. Ouch! There went my two iPhone purchases.
yeah and that is not even a reall pearl they use for the roller ball. what a rip? haha
Dalesandro:

Any way you can post how you got the 8100 to act as a modem via bluetooth?

That would be awesome.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
