who knows they could pull an apple because the proximity sensor drivers were buggy so they sent it out with it disabled, like apple did with the bluetooth in the ipod touch.all im saying is it is possible
So basically this kicks tegra/snapdragon's ass in terms of prossesing power/battery life .
the iPhone is waterproof/fireproof? AND holds more than 32gb !?!?!? where can i buy it?
this =/= netbook at all
oh and tegra for battery life
this is AWESOME but i really want a keyboard/touchscreen that doesnt click and the same 480x360 but in zune hd quality oled. just saying it would make the droid weep!
I thought it was going to start off on netbooks, then go to more powerful stuff, but if you had the driver for linux you could install it on whatever.
Do you know what linux is? linux is a kernal which is open source so ANYBODY can base an os off of it like android or ubuntu or i think webOS even. In fact this is what the linux foundation WANTS to get a partner like google.
@what a surprise:

they kind of have... zune hd and w7 are both far ahead (imo) of the competiton and yes i own them both.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
