Sweet, Its out for the UK now!
Your preaching to the choir my man.
Whats with all the nerd comments .. we're all nerds on this site.
Heya,

When did you get that message from Orange, I'm on Orange (UK) too .. just looking forward to this phone more than I did my Viewty, which I still have 20 or so months later
LOL, do you think that the "fuel" was representative of the battery life? Download 1 translator app, walk around a bit (or fly to another planet). Then your phone runs outta juice.
Ok, so there is not exclusitivity announcement yet, but if there is .. grrr.
(I'm on Orange, UK)
Ok, if this really happens, then my mind is made up, and Hero is the only way for me.
Bloody shame, I'm really hating these exclusitivity deals, screw the iPhone for enthusing this concept to the Mobile Telecoms industry.
Yeah! ;)
Ah, Also its nice to know what the unlocked box contents are (source amazon.co.uk):

* HTC Hero 3G Android Sim Free mobile phone
* Quick start guide
* Screen protector
* Travel charger
* Mini-USB data cable
* Standard battery
* Wired stereo headset with 3.5 mm connector
* Accessory leaflet
* 2 GB microSD card

Hopefully the Orange package would have a bigger SD card
Hahah yeah thats the same thing I was thinking when I clicked play.

Amazingly I dont think I've EVER seen that video, I've only heard the song is 80/ early 90 films and such and erm .. most recently Shrek.... *coughs*

But anywhom, I'm a Orange UK customer so I'm looking forward to July :-), shame the Samsung Galaxy/i7500 is not being mentioned yet in the UK coming from an LG Viewty I just cant wait for it to come out (If the Galaxy even comes to Orange).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
