Layar already does this and it's free. Why would I buy this app when I already have Layar?
Layar has a twitter layer for its own app. How is that any different than this stand alone app?
@Cj No actually he has directed all the movies in this series. There were sequels to Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead but he didn't direct those, he only produced the Alone in the Dark sequel.

Not that I watch his movies. I just prefer to read the reviews he gets when I need a good laugh.
This idea sounds like it has great potential. I would love to see Criterion make the next Hot Pursuit type game. Cop chases, car crashes, 60% arcade and 40% simulation. The last Burnout game was fun. And if Criterion has been working on this game for a while then this looks to be a high quality game for sure. Definitely a day one purchase.
If Monopoly Classic is anything like the version they have on the App Store right now then I will be skipping it. The World version they have on there cheats and the game is rigged.

I have played it too much to know. You may choose to play against 3 AI opponents but in reality you are playing against one opponent with 3 heads. They will make dumb, obvious deals to complete monopolies. Then they wait til you have the chance to land in it before they build hotels. Of course they'll somehow magically avoid landing in anything you own. I once owned a whole side of the board with hotels on it and the AI would conveniently land in the 2-3 spaces that I didn't own (the utility, the transportation, and the community chest/chance square)

There are numerous complaints in the App store review and so far nothing has been done.
I believe the use of "an" has to do with the fact that NYT starts with N and if you were to spell the sound of the letter out it would be "en" and therefore the use of "an" is correct. If he had spelled out New York Times than he would have used "a".

I am sure I used too many quotation marks but I wanted to make sure things were clear.
Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit was amazing. I still play it when I need a good race. I like the canyon courses. I play the longer version, set all the cars to Corvettes, use the harder setting, give the computer a full lap head start, and I still place first. I know that course like the back of my hand.

Hot Pursuit 2 was just as good. I love both games and wish the series would go back to that style. I don't need a storyline to have fun. The cops in both Hot Pursuit were aggressive, but not to the point that the game was annoying.

EA needs to look towards those 2 games to get my interest back in the series. The first Underground was ok but since then it's gone downhill. The Shift game is a start to getting better. Let the Shift makers produce a game like Hot Pursuit and I'll buy it on day one.
@MRLN It's Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. And nothing could be as bad as that game. Everytime I need a good laugh I go to the gamespot site and watch that video review.

Nothing is better at being bad as that game. I'm not sure anyone could intentionally make a game as bad.
Are they gonna put a demo of Uncharted 2 back in the store? I got the beta demo but it was expired and the website keeps saying get the Uncharted 2 demo.

I didn't play the first game and I want to play the demo of the second game before I throw my cash down to get the whole game.
Well I could get 2 full price games and get the first Uncharted as the free game.

My question was more asking if Uncharted 2 was included in the promotion because it's a brand new game.

Depending on how the sale works they may not include a game that was released today.

I'll find out at the end of the week.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
