Wow a polarizing graphics card, if there ever was one. It sure looks cool but I'm not sure if I'd want to buy one.
@Jaster: The Fermi/GT300 is still on schedule for a Q1 '10 release. http://tr.im/E0BB
I remember reading somewhere that Lenovo was planning to release a new series that slots between the SL and R models. Maybe this is it? Looks like the result of a threesome with a T series, Macbook and one very horny Chinese.
At least it is a lot better and more durable than the legions of HPs, Acers and Dells that seem to be all over the place.
I'm ready to sell all my phones to buy that. Come on SE, stop dilly dallying. Get this in before Christmas and I'll buy an extra one for my girlfriend.
This is going to be my next phone, unless HTC pulls out a magic rabbit and comes out with a Droid2.0 toting handset right now.
As others have said, that's not a real Thinkpad. Besides, a top of the line T400 can be had for less than $1k and that'll blow the socks off this thing.
If it weren't for the faux leather, I would've bought this already. Plus, I think it doesn't look as nice as the Tour and Curve 8900.

I guess I'll be using my Curve 8900 a little longer, at least until its 3G successor is announced.
Does this mean they're going to run around the streets of London (or Liverpool) in their cute little Beetles and act like blithering idiots whenever a clueless person calls them to install something?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
