Looks like Cingular is changing their boxes as well. Lots of blue....ATT name change must be coming soon.
I could be wrong, but I believe Cingular has met this requirement for quite some time now.
#27-Engadget IS giving this phone away and has been for the last couple days.

#28-The phone is much much smaller than you would think. It easily fits in the hand. It's about half as big as I imagined it to be after first seeing the pics a couple months ago. The body is almost the exact same size as a Blackberry 7100.
If that screen is 4", the device is HUGE! My A2 has a 4" screen that makes up nearly all of the front of the device - unlike this PMP - and its big enough as it is.
If I win, can I hold out for a 700p?
To clear up some confusion - this phone DOES have wifi. The HP 6515 does NOT have wifi and runs Windows Mobile 2003. This device is clearly better; much smaller with better form factor and a lower price - it's a no brainer. The full price on this phone in Cingular stores will be $450. And to #10 - please show me a year old pocket pc running windows mobile 5 with EVDO or UMTS. I don't know where you got that information from, but it's completely inaccurate.
Knowing apple, this won't support divx or xvid. I'm sure it won't do in-line video recording either. Why not just buy a Cowon A2 or an Archos AV500? They are available now, and aside from the touchscreen, are already better than this mockup.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
