I love Aero peek, and find that when I'm on Vista I keep forgetting that it's not there. On the other hand, Aero shake is pretty useles, why don't I just maximize the window if that's the only thing I want to see?
Sweet, an iPhone would help improve the economy by allowing me to write stupid apps and make free money
Looks sweet, always looking to add more gear to my setup
I can tell you for a fact that right now, my LCD TV is using less than 1 watt in standby, but when it's on it uses 165 W. If you're concerned about power consumption, buy a Kill-A-Watt or similar device and find out how much power your devices are actually using, the results may surprise you.
I find this hilarious, my University is turning off their free dialup service on July 1, and every single retiree and their son/daughter has called with some question about it.

On a related note, I'm glad the switch is finally going to happen. It should've happened back in Feb but meh, what can ya do?
A Watt is a Joule per time unit. The confusion comes in when people try to think about watt-hours. A kilowatt-hour is the amount of energy used by a kilowatt over the course of an hour. It comes out to 3.6 MegaJoules. 1000W*3600s=1000(J/s)*3600s=3.6MJ

Life would be so much easier if we used Joules to figure out how much electricity we need to pay for.

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
