How about just making the damn phone work right?

REAL ringtones and none of that cutsie shit!

LOUD RINGTONES.

Good quality sound!

Some of the stuff that's standard on most decent phones!
I'm a longtime Archos user and although I HAVE had problems with their units, in the long run, I like their products.

I have good experience with their service but like the man said, it's my experience. I've had FOUR units from them and I will continue with the 604. I just sold my 500 to a friend when I heard about the 604 (to be prepared money wise) and I'm now just waiting to see if they will release the 604 wifi with the bigger drive.
That's going to be a clincher for me.

As for quality and build, they seem superior to me than most products and don't even mention ipod in this conversation, they never even came close to Archos for features. They built their reputation on being simple to use in a time when things weren't so simple to use and of course, being apple...

I've heard so much bad stuff about them, the same thing you've heard about Archos applies to them.

I don't work for Archos either and needless to say, if their products didn't work, I wouldn't have bought 4 units from them.

To the guy that wondered if you can hook it up to a DVR, you should be able to as long as the DVR has OUTPUTS and if not, maybe you can hook it up through the TV while playing whatever's on the DVR.

Chris, put what on display?

The 604?

George
Mike, I also have the AV500 and I'm thinking of selling it to get this unit, BUT, I was curious about the camcorder and the quality.

Do you have any video clips taken with it that I can see?

Thanks

George
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
