Conjectures about this networth are generally above the $100m range, but not sure what he makes in yearly income. He's done a lot of stuff, and of course he no longer does the tonight show (but has his own show now anyway), so who knows. People like this don't really have a "salary" like you or I (well, I don't have a salary right now... but I digress). He could live just as nicely off just the capital appreciation from all of his assets.
@ inteller: I doubt the dealerships really care that much, seeing as how only 500 would be sold to begin with. The chances of a dealership even getting one (if its even going to be sold through the dealer network) are small, and the chances of any dealership getting more than one are going to be even smaller. So they're not really losing too much profit.

They love it because it's a halo car, and it will (and already has) really uplifted the Lexus brand. Hopefully LF-A bits will trickle down into the rest of the Lexus line. For far too long it's been grandma's brand. Time to bring back some excitement (also to Toyota).
WTF are you talking about?
Well, based on the rest of their statement, I assume that the 10 HP gain is only at peak; the real improvement is probably over the entire power and torque range, possibly to give a flatter torque curve or maybe one biased more towards the low end... otherwise I doubt he'd say that people would notice a 10 HP improvement.
Yea, and here's to hoping for a SVT Camaro...
I just noticed this comes with only a three year warranty. Really?
I thought engine fires were a standard feature of older Italian exotics.
What... the... hell...
You must have a braille keyboard, sir, because it would appear that you are blind.
Well I don't think the reducing CO2 bit is a scam, it's a fact since the planes wouldn't be idling as much, thus... not as much CO2. The bigger commentary on CO2 wasn't mentioned here.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
