Now, I know Valve would never do this (too much money to be made), but I was really hoping that they would refuse to sell the game in Australia at all- a high-profile title like that not being released in Australia could really make a statement. It's beyond me why the ratings board refuses to allow a higher classification for titles, especially considering the demographics (most gamers are over 20 at least); plus, it's not like movies are censored in the same way!
