Well technically Engadget, it's not an i9, it's a Xeon Gulftown.
that first video was stupid. We already know SSDs are faster than HDs, compare it to other SSDs. I would probably guess he didn't compare to to SSDs in the first video because you would not notice the difference with boot up and PS start times.
@NAME

"Apple ads have told me everything I need to know.."

And that's all I need to know about you, iTroll.
@Chris Aversa

I think it has to do with the fact that providers charge more money for video calls and doing a video call sucks battery life. This obviously doesn't fix the battery life but at least it's free on Skype.
This is a great laptop, the W700ds has mostly gimmicky features (like the tablet that's too small to be useful and the second screen that is too small, has worse colors, and is less bright than the primary screen), while these Dells focus on performance and useful features.
@Cam it has 6 SATA 300 ports and 2 SATA 600 ports
lol, some of us are cheap when it comes to mice and keyboards. I'm surprised there wasn't a parallel port to go with the PS/2 ports
@WhatHappened

Theoretically it will work with i9, but it might need a Bios update first.
Finally! but not too great video quality, the video looks small and laggy.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
