What's wrong with SE? Did they make all their testers redundant at the last cull?

I've always had Ericsson and Sony-Ericsson phones (apart from one brief dalliance with Nokia -- oh, and technically, my first mobe was a Sony -- a good old analogue one!), but the quality has been steadily getting worse. My current W910 keeps restarting. Like a poster aboe, I'm waiting for the iPhone to arrive on Vodafone, then I'm off.
@wizk1

Yup, I got through a shed load of W910is too. Apparently it was a 'component fault' that caused them to keep crashing. Last SE phone I bought...
I suggest you buy a Lumix GF1 then. It's not quite as sexy as the Pen, but it has all the features you're after.
Sounds very nice. Knowing SE though, we won't actually see this until this time next year. I was bitten once waiting for the P990. Never again...
So, that'll be an electronic viewfinder then, unlike the EP-1. And it communicates via a small port on the back of the body, beneath the hotshoe. Just like the Lumix GF-1. And tilts, just like the GF-1.

Now, where's that flash...
I used to have a Media Centre (XP, then upgraded to Vista). I found it to be a complete pain in the ass, to be honest. My needs are pretty simple -- just playing music, photos, and DVD rips; so I didn't need all the extra functionality of MCE. So, for me, ATV is a much better solution.

I can see though that if you want to record TV (and do whatever else it is that MCE is good for), then ATV is not for you.
Oh, and a flash. You really need a built in flash for something that's going to be used in place of a 'point and shoot'. Something like the one from the GF1 would be good.

In fact, here's hoping the EP2 combines the best bits of the Lumix GF1 and the EP1; with some added 720p60 video.

There, Olympus Marketing Dept., job done. My consultancy fee is in the post...
A built in EVF would be nice, as would boosting the video capabilities up to that of the Lumix GH1. Then I might buy one as a P&S complement to the GH1 I've just ordered.
I can't imagine how awful this must be to use on your lap.

Also, do Apple have a deal with Dell to make the Air look cheap?
Does anyone know if this as a VGA out? I've glanced at the spec lists, but can't find any mention of video in or out).

I know VGA is a little (well, a lot) Old Skool, but my wife (a teacher) is looking for some new PCs to replace the existing desktops in the classrooms at her school. These new all in one touch screen PCs look perfect. But, they also need to output VGA to the smartboard projectors. So far, only the MSI all-in-ones fit the bill (the Asus ones only do HDMI).

Cheers.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
