@Yoyodyne No I think you're the one that needs to shut up here. Sony proprietary technologies are a blight upon the land, annoying for customers and hampering adoption of non-proprietary standards. It's a very valid point.

You're right and wrong at the same time. For the general population, they are over-concerned about germs which (as studies have shown) has led to a decreased immune system.

However, there are specific situations - which presumably are much less common - where you do need something like this. Surgery would be the obvious example, followed by tattooing as they pointed out, etc. This is an industrial device that won't make it into homes anytime soon, so it's meant for these types of uses.
I know what you mean. Now the game is gonna really suck because you'll know there's a secret squid in it. The entire plot of the game is ruined, just ruined!
@youlookdivorced

For fuck's sake (and no, I will not be civil here). I am so sick of people playing the "fanboy card" every time they hear something they don't like. Will you please quit your goddamn whining because YOU'RE the biggest fanboy here. You simply can't stand to hear someone else's opinion, because WinMo is soooo awesome and clearly, anyone who doesn't believe that is a turtleneck-wearing Apple fanboy. And by the way, I have owned a WinMo phone for the last 5 years and yes, there are a thousand reasons to despise it.
There's a special place in Hell for people like you and those who comment "First!"
If it's anywhere near as good as crack cocai... ummm, I mean, PuzzleQuest, it's easily worth the money. PQ and Galactrix have both given me many more hours of gameplay than typical $60 games.
I'm dying to see how that BSI sensor performs in real life.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
