Anyone else think the two week delay is to have time to release 10.5.2 which will enable this feature for both standard NAS as well as TimeCapsule?
When is Apple going to issue these "keynotes" as podcast so that we can watch them on our Apple TVs?
What about the Apple TV? Surprised they didn't open access to the iTunes store to it as well.
please, please pick me, pick me!!
One big difference between this and the "iTV" is OS X support. Can't wait for the "iTV."
I have not been able to download or hear any of the "speech" ringtones. It acts like it downloads and the audio player comes up, but there is no sound. I have a Cingular 8700. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?
The Homedock Deluxe DOES support video, you just can't control it on the TV screen, you have to select it from the iPod in the dock. I have been using this product for sometime now, and it works reasonably well. Looks like the only difference the Pro is adding, is that you will be able to select the videos on the TV.
I have two cable cards installed by Insight Cable. One in a Sony XBR 32" LCD and the other in a Hitachi 42" Plasma. Both Installs were seemless, and have not had any issues what so ever. Just waiting for the next version of cable cards to come out to allow for two way communication.
Looks like they have missed the boat once again on the release date.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
