Does it even really matter what they say? If fans complain loud enough, they will add it back. I mean why even waste the time to patent something if you're never going to use it? Sony said this about rumble and we eventually got a dual shock 3. Until Sony starts digitally selling PS2 titles on PSN, people are going to complain about no bc non-stop. If Sony were smart enough to patent something that would satisfy fans and yet stupid enough not to implement it, I just dont know what to say about Sony. It's just perplexing.

If the cost of manufacturing dropped 70 percent, there really is no reason, whether it be logical, financial, or technical, why the bc hasn't been added back or isn't planning to be added.
How about patching some trophies in while they're at it? Lazy *****.
This is an absolute joke. What exactly is the point of being stubborn about this? The dude sounds childish as hell when he says "trophies were never promised". PS3 games that came out after summer 2008 were supposed to have trophies. Many lower tier games and lower tier developers didn't include trophies, which is understandable, but Capcom not doing it, and being a supposedly elite developer is more than a little stupid.

Obviously, someone needs to complain to Sony about this and put pressure on them, since they are more responsive than Capcom will ever be.
Let's hope that people don't stop complaining. TWC deserves to lose all its customers for this bullcrap. I'm so happy that Frontier decided to screw Time Warner over and keep up the unlimited data consumption. Honestly, we don't need to be turning into Europe right now. When that congressman said that this will hamper our competitiveness, he is absolutely right. I hope the telcoms can spread fiber to everybody and give everyone the choice between the watered down crap of the past and the internet and HD options of the future that fiber provides. I can't WAIT to switch to FIOS or U-Verse when either one gets down here.
How about some BLEEPING TROPHIES for the PS3 version? The bug fixes are great but the PS3 version definitely needs trophies. Not only that, but I think there needs to be an ending gallery, so when you've beaten the game with a certain character, their ending is accessible from a gallery.
Camera flash with video recording is still missing. A pretty big deal in my book. The fact that manufacturers think they can get away without putting in video recording is preposterous.
In response to someone asking whether this white 40 gb PS3 will come with a DS 3, the answer is no. Having looked at the instruction manual Sony provided the FCC, it appears that Sony is being a bunch of stupid f***s and not including the DS3 in the box. They really need to phase the sixaxis out IMMEDIATELY and start bundling in the DS3.
Yea, I really need an X360.
Wasting your vote for a Libertarian, people who are basically Republicans but refuse to admit so and thus waste everyone's time, just like the Greens are basically Democrats, just a crapload whinier and more irrelevant, is definitely not the right thing to do. At the end of the day, the party that tries to legislate morality is the Republican party. And by no means, should gaming be the only issue you care about. Arnold had no choice but to move to the center, that's why he signed that gaming bill. And how is it a bad law anyway? Let's be responsible thinkers here, eventually we're going to be parents ourselves. Joe Loserman is a dolt and an imbecile and as already pointed out, is a DINO and deserves to be destroyed by Ned Lamont later this evening. Hillary has to look tough on moral issues and family values for 08 if she decides to run, that's why she acts that way on gaming issues. The Illinois and Michigan governors have been good for their states, at the end of the day, if they sign those kinds of gaming bills, unless they are unconstitutional, we have no right to act as a special interest and try to overrule what the people and their reps want.

You folks in Virginia, vote for Jim Webb. Im just going to be overt, since Libertarians decided to waste everyone's time and make their presence known. All that happens when you vote for a Libertarian is basically nothing of benefit. You look like part of an irrelevant, worthless minority, and you basically take away votes from people who really deserve them, like the republicans who actually share your values.
Why the hell are you guys covering Microsoft's ass? The bottom line is that this stuff should be sold for free and this line was established as soon as games started costing 60 dollars. What EA and 2K did by allowing this bullcrap to be sold was wrong and offensive to gamers. Isnt it enough to be paying 50 dollars for a controller and 60 dollars for games? We've been filling their coffers, buying HDTV's and home theaters and making their retail and hardware partners money, and now we still get nickel and dimed for content that should be free. Dont tell me something is optional when it costs something. I knew this microtransaction bs was going to be bad for gamers as soon as it was announced on MTV but MS might as well put a stop to it now. Micro-content instead of micro-transactions, now there's an idea.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
