does anyone know if this works in background mode? i see myself online but when I send myself messages from other accounts, i dont get notified. And the messages seem to get lost in the ether when i ping myself from my computer to iphone.

Treo 650 getting major firmware update?

If this holds true then I am totally stoked because I've had the 650 for a while now and I refuse to get the wi-fi sled which makes my nice treo feel like a brick. I wish there was a way to upgrade the camera on the phone though without having to buy the new phone.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
