It's like a Helio Ocean, but ugly and without all the cool messaging and gps apps. No thanks.
@ShortFuse: This is a free upgrade for the vast majority of Helio members, since something like 90% are on All-In plans. The $5 monthly charge is only for those few members who have the A La Carte plan.

Free Helio to Helio. Nice.
Who needs WiFi when Helio's plans include unlimited EV-DO?
I don't think Helio's going to take another chance on these guys...
Oh come on guys, that's just below the belt.
Wow, hats off to all you creative types - these are incredible.
Wow, another must-read from Engadget. Nice going gang!!!
Huzzah! Congratulations on the new site, goes right into my bookmarks bar.
Too bad it won't fit in the new MacBook Pro's next-gen slot. Has anything compatible even been announced yet?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
