Actually you're the idiot. Changing to non-removable batteries went along with singificant increases in battery performance, because these batteries are can be and are bigger than the removable ones.
I think it is mid-engined. It's the only reason I can think of for placing the muffler this far in the back of the car (visible on the picture showing the mule standing on the trailer).
Ever heard about a phenomenon called interest?

4% on 8m are 320k. Even after deducting taxes on interest of 30% and considering a falling capital stock he could spend roughly 450k each year.

In addition to the millions he has already received in his years as chief clown of GM.
Seems driver skill levels are a much higher in F1 than in the current US open-wheel racing world. It's a shame really. Before the whole ego-driven IRL-CART split initiated the decline it was a really world class racing series...
Sorry to ask, but are you dumb?

Oh and btw, that's physics, not chemistry.
Could be a prototype from some of the coachbuilders located in northern Italy.

Didn't Stola (www.stola.it) do a Boxster-based special some years ago? I believe it was called the GTS. Why not create a mid-engined breadvan to show off your coachbuilding skills?
@Sea Urchin: This is the most ignorant comment I've read in a long time. It's like judging US anti terror and special forces by the miserably failed attempt to free the US hostages in Iran (Google Operation Eagle Claw).
The situation was completely different back in 72 (almost 40 years ago): International terrorism was still a nascent movement so Germany had no police or military special forces dot deal with these situations. This changed radically in the aftermath of 1972 with the foundation of GSG9, which proved their efficiency as early as 1977 with the liberation of the kidnapped Lufthansa plane in Mogadishu.

Secondly, the so called leftists in Germany who despicably helped the terrorists by supplying video footage of police operations were members of the communist East German GDR delegation, a state which ceased to exist in 1990 as even you may have heard.

Criticism is alright, however all your comment does is bolster the impression of American ignorance when it comes to events that are outside the US.

@FSM:

I've never said an Autoblog writer shouldn't be allowed to state an opinion. It's their Blog. However, why shouldn't commenters be allowed to say so, if he disagrees with that opinion or thinks that a comment was needlessly sensationalist?
This is the comments section after all...

Ramen, may you be touched by his noodly appendage!
Yeah, great reasoning there Autoblog.

Maybe you guys should also tell Mercedes to change their name, you know because of the evil silver arrows. Or Volkswagen. Or Ford, for that matter, as they provided trucks for the Wehrmacht.

It must be hard trying to find a controversy in everything...

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
