It's pretty clear to me. Flash is a threat to the Apple business model. Anyone could build their own flash based "app store", where people could create a market that could compete with iTunes app store. Apple looses control of the platform if they allow full blown flash support.
I got a chance to check it out over the weekend during the Fios free preview. The number of titles is limited, but they had a good variety of both newer and older releases to choose from. If they can match the Netflix dvd+streaming library, I will drop netflix in an instant. For $10 a month you will get unlimited on-demand + web streaming viewing. Netflix better watch their backs.
I see a pink controller, and want to paint it black...
hmmmm iDouche... is there an app for that?
Radio Shack is the TVGuide of electronics... an aging customer base that is dying off, and an image that makes it difficult to attract a younger market.

I used to love Radio Shack. Now that they charge $4.99 for a single button cell battery, I don't go there too often. They were one of the few places where you could go and play with a hand held scanner before buying, and they actually sold some unique stuff. Now, I wait until they sell off toys that they sell for $50 at Christmas for $14.99 in the off season for my kids.
I was just saying to myself... "Self, you sure could use a new set of rear surround speakers." Self thinks these would be nice.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
