Definitely, the RS 4 is outmatched here (as is the M3, IS-F, C63, E39 M5, etc)...but it still looks hot and turns more heads than that Caddy ever will. Sorry, just facing the facts!
Edmunds receives transaction data from dealership sales, analyzes it, and uses it to make predictions for sales and pricing. What's so hard to believe about that? If they know the prices people paid for, say, an Acadia in zip code 85201, don't you think they'd also know how many of them were sold? And when that data was compiled for all manufacturers, don't you think it'd be reasonable for them to predict a rise/fall in market share for a particular brand?
The car is dated, but the commercial does an effective job of advertising it. Nicely done.
Wait, you don't like the 2011 Grand Cherokee? I had an 07 SRT-8 and think the new one's interior is light-years better.
Simple question here. If this is a full review, where's the instrumented testing? Citing manufacturer's claims are what 'First Drives' are about.
20,000 trees? I think that's a bit of wishful thinking on their sales figures...
Definitely looks better in wagon form. I don't know about the clock in the dash taking up 1/3 the instrumentation though. Seems kind of silly for an AMG car.
I doubt it's going to be a production color - test mules are often wrapped in camo or a flat paint color to make them less flashy, but that matte black crossed over onto consumers' vehicles over the past year or two. I used to see them everywhere in LA, but now I don't see any. Kind of like the spinner phenomenon on SUVs a few years back..
Looks great. Kind of thinking that matte black finish craze came and went pretty quickly though, right?
This is confusing because it looks like I'm replying to myself...
But I'm curious, what don't you like about the way the Fusion looks? I saw a black one today at lunch and did a triple-take. I think they did a really, really nice job on it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
