You also don't have to go through the App store on the iPhone if you distribute your app through Cydia
I wonder if they made a status code for Awaiting AT&T's Permission
This should give my 3GS some additional eBay value when I list it after the Droid comes out.
I'm dumping my 3GS for this. The iPhone is an excellent device, but I'm really tired of literally dropping EVERY call I make every day. Multitasking, the open Android market and tight integration with Gmail/GVoice definitely doesn't hurt either.
If only it wasn't on the best coverage network in the U.S.? Go back to AT&T and the "nation's fastest 3G network", your iPhone is dying to drop your calls for you.
Can I nominate ahzdeen for comment of the year?
I am sorry for all of your English teachers. I hope you does apologized to them dearly.
Actually I just figured out I was using a Dare all along and that was my issue. Thanks for your insightful input.
Wow, so I haven't messed with jailbreaking since 2008 before 2.0 came out, and it was an ungodly mess back then, every app crashed instantly and nothing every worked properly.

Good to see that absolutely nothing has changed. Used this tool, took two tries to make it work properly, and Cydia crashes instantly the moment is is launched. Awesome. Then installed Rock, and it actually works, but when I installed one of its apps, that app instantly crashes upon startup as well. More buggy crap from jailbreaking. From reading online it seems the bug of Cydia crashing instantly is quite common, and the fix is to restore your phone completely and start this amateur act from the start again. No thanks, this was a waste of time in 2008 and it still is today. I want my 15 minutes I spent on this trash back.
Awesome, now twelve year olds can make their profanity laced prank calls in real time, and Nigerian scammers can utilize stolen credit cards numbers without delay!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
