Your "fix" isn't really a fix, as it seems this would leave machines unable to be controlled through Remote Desktop.. which is the whole point of having ARDAgent running to begin with.
This isn't badass, this is is just garbage. You're posting to say that a feature works... exactly as intended? Not to mention the introductory paragraph, which is completely irrelevant. I am disappointed by the amount of trash TUAW has been posting lately.
Problems with this review:
1) Which device are you reviewing? The 8700g, or the 8310? They're similar but not identical, so stop referring to the 8700.
2) Both the iPhone and the 8310 have a 2 megapixel camera. I have no idea where the 1.2 mentioned comes from, I can only imagine that you do no fact-checking or proofreading. That said, any serious review of mobile cameras will include sample pictures. Considering the camera specs are incorrect, I'm not much inclined to pay attention to the rest of the camera review.
3) You would "probably" adjust to the trackball? That's saying you would probably know whether it's good or not, if you took the time to do a thorough review. Either take more time to decide if the trackball is good, or don't mention it.
4) Considering both of these devices are used only with unlimited internet plan, I expected a review of internet browsing, yet there is none.

Overall it looks like this review focuses solely on what you, the reviewer, would use, and not the various categories of people that these devices are targeted at. If so, perhaps you should have kept the review to yourself, because it doesn't really shed a lot of light on any aspect of these devices. Sites that do proper reviews, such as mobile-review.com, for example, post screenshots, samples, and compare every aspect of the device.
Any word on what kind of flash the camera has? If it's LED, I think you can easily add it to the list of specs to frown over. Having owned both an N82 and N95-3, I've had to sell the N95-3 despite the 3G because the flash is just garbage.
Nice entry, but I still have no idea what this app does. Is it a audio editor? You seem to have failed to mention.
A high-end RAZR you didn't even know existed? I did and it's pretty sad that a site like yours doesn't keep up with new phones. Just read GSM Arena: http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola-phones-4.php . There's the phone, first on the list.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
