@Ducman69 I will support your statement, as long as we can also apply it to Steve "I OWN YOU" Jobs. A middle aged man in a turtleneck every day just gives me the creeps. If I met him on the street, I'd think he drove a white panel van.
could be just the camera driver - a single file or similar, which might not warrant a version bump.
"Discounted". *snicker*

I have the b/g version, and Hulu via Playon wasn't very good. Ran some Cat5e, and I'm so much happier.

Anyone wanna buy a very-slightly-used b/g adapter?
Paddy: I haven't used a mockup, but the real thing is ridiculously solid. The slider feels very sturdy, with no rock or give.
The ads are hit or miss depending on who's viewing, but you're straight out crazy if you think anything about this phone "feels like it could break easily". The whole thing is very, very solid.
May or may not be trying to tell us something, but from the official Motorola Twitter account just a bit ago:

@vorgity DROID currently supports double tap zoom— stay tuned here for any updates on additional capabilities!
Apple's been evil for quite awhile. They just make stuff people want so nobody much cares. Apple treats its business partners terribly.
I guess I am missing the part where it's Intel's fault as opposed to the iPhone's fault.
or... for anything at all.
In my experience, that seems to be a Verizon issue. I know a number of verizon motorola phones that reject a standard MOTOROLA charger. Verizon made it such that they would only accept Verizon chargers, despite both being MiniUSB.

However, Verizon seems to be changing their particularly evil ways lately, so hopefully that era is gone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
