Putting induction coils in roadways just doesn't seem like a very practical solution. On the other hand putting one in my garage floor so I don't have to plug in my car when I get home seems like something I could get behind.
I'll take one of them, TV doojamahiccies...
Is that for everyone or are they pulling their "price for new *insert carrier here* customers"?
So then would an event right before this be a pre-"Pre 'launch launch'"?
This is a coilgun, not a railgun. A coilgun is basically just a linear electric motor.
This would have been useful two years ago when it happened to me....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
