Android is nice on my phone, but looks just plain ugly on a netbook screen. I'd rather use Ubuntu or Windows.
You know, I don't care for the clock either. That's why I just click and hold on it, then drag the widget to the trash! Too bad there is no touch screen on the netbook. Might be hard dealing with that ugly widget.

The clock is sorry reason not to use Android, by the way.
I just can't imagine Android translating to a netbook very well. All the great functionality of android is in the touch screen and being able to drag screens around and so on.
damn that show is too funny.
and by the way all you iPhone lovers/Android haters:

the iPhone is undeniably cool. but I choose to use Android (and the MyTouch 3G) because I love the integration with Goolge voice, gmail and calendar, most of the apps (though fewer in number) are free or cheaper than their iPhone counterparts, my data plan from Tmobile is only $25 a month (plus $40 a month for 1000 anytime min) and I like that its open to being hacked away and developed by third parties.

Sure, the iPhone kicks ass. But I don't need Steve Jobs and co ass raping my wallet all the time and micro-managing how I use my phone.
Got a question for my fellow Android users. If I root my phone and install another rom, do I lose all my application data? Anyway of backing it up (and maybe even the apps)?

Thanks for the insight my fellow Engadgeteers!
This zune looks badass. I wonder if anyone will buy it? I want it, but that iPod Touch sure it sexy... Which one to get?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
