A few years back, when I was in my IB Art class, my professor pulled out a QuickTake 250, and I thought "wow, I didn't know Apple made cameras!" So I took a few snapshots, and said "OK, now we just take the memory card out and put it into the SmartMedia slot on my memory card reader" and I got a big fat DENIED. Even when Apple tried to adopt standards with that thing, it didn't adopt them right. Nothing read the 8MB card that came with the thing, and it wouldn't read other SM cards.

It was a good try, Apple, but I hope it proves going proprietary doesn't often seem to work out as well as you'd hope.
I'd like one! Thank you for the chance!
Sounds interesting. I'll pass on the mouse, but some new headphones would be nice.
Ooh, another freebie. I wouldn't mind it.
So, apparently you guys got a lot of facts wrong: http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/wwdnbackup/2009/03/books-i-love-a-saucerful-of-secrets.html#comment-6a00d8341c59aa53ef01156e48de2f970c

And it's not cool that I need to open a whole separate window to view the article.
I wouldn't mind one of these.
You know, I've liked Woz *before* he was on Dancing with The Stars ;)
Why hello, Engadget. This certainly would be a nice replacement for my N73 (which seems to think for some crazy reason that even though I have notifications for it turned on, I don't like to be told when I have new e-mail).
I wouldn't mind one of those. Thanks for the contest.
Didn't PowerVR introduce technology (primarily used in the Dreamcast) that would detect when objects were obstructing one another, and wouldn't render anything you couldn't see (including back sides of polygons and parts hidden behind other parts)? I don't know if nVidia is using this technology right now, but I could see it easily boosting performance in machines, allowing better use of power.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
