I want the decepti-versa.... send itmy way Big Red.... >:-#
Roger for the record and to back up chris... VZW sent customers the email at 5:36 am Pacific (at least thats when i got it..) to announce this....BGR and others may have known ( i knew quite a while ago since i know one of the people that tested the damn thing.) get off of BGR's NUTZ and let this site do its thing.... they give credit when credit is due and in this case credit belonged to BIG RED for dropping the email today....
hook it up!!!
im sure they will have plenty of stock soon enough since here in sacramento and surrounding areas LOTS of icraphones have been returned....local news reported last night that "numerous units being returned" reasons varied from DATA SPEEDS, NO REMOVABLE BATTERY and all the things that have been discussed on here form weeks...if only those lemmings had looked on engadget first...would have saved some headache
ok so heres the deal as to why MOST people dont piss and moan about the extension and just another reason it make sense for OUR customers.....due to the large number of customers that have an employee or corp discount of some kind this plan works great and is WAY more cost effective...instead of your text pkg not being discounted NOW it is because the primary lines cost(which is what gets the discount) has the text package bundled into it therefore bigger dollar amount of a discount!! so congrats to Att for once again riding our coat tails and bringing up the REAR....ENJOY THE VIEW....
get over the whole UI thing...anyone that has half a brain and has seen the new verizon phones will notice lots of things have changed...why do you sipmletons insist on pissing and moaning about the UI...WHO FLIPPIN CARES...im too busy using the damn thing to worry about what goddamn UI is on there...get over it!!
why would it be hard to get used to?? isnt the spacebar on the computer you are using in the middle at the bottom?? seems logical to make a full keyboard actually have the esthetics of a real keyboard....just a thought...
well lets see new samsung, new blackberry, new audiovox/UTS, and a few others that ive yet to see pics of but was told are in the test phase and should be out early summer....
ive gotten a chance to play with this device (although not the mobile tv yet since i live in a market where its not launched) and its great...resolution on the screen is on point and the swivel of the phone feels very sturdy...much better phone IMO than the samsung...not as inconvenient as the samsung in re to having to turn the phone sideways to view video....hands down LG put together another great product.... now im just torn between getting the 9400 or holding out for one of the numerous PDAs were launching in the next few months....
wont really need that come june when verizon launches the CYCLONE blackberry....its cdma/gsm so all issues of being able to go pond jumping world wide are no longer a problem...gotta love the big red checkmark....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
