Don't get me wrong.. I really really like Symbian devices..I sport an N80 at the moment..However, if the iphone is as fantastic (UI wise) as it looked, then I am sorry.. I'll relegate the venerable Nokia to my "beater" phone.. Cingular won;t carry the N95 so I'd still be riding the EDGE network anyways.. oh well..
--No 3G. We know you know, but still, it hurts man.
Of course this will be resolved v2 (UMTS)

--No over the air iTunes Store downloads or WiFi syncing to your host machine.
Don't get this.. Would be nice.. but not a showstopper

--No expandable memory.
Yep.. really killed the ipod - and how many people are sporting multiple 2GB mini sd cards for thier phones? .005 percent?

--No removable battery.
Yep.. again really killed the ipod.. I have't had any bateries go bad in my various ipods so while I understand the view.. it doesn;t bother me.. or probably the majority of people..

--No Exchange or Office support.

Not a positive.. but I think this is more aimed at the consumer rather than corporate types.. So while it might bother a small percentage of folks.. probably not a big deal for most..
Yawn.. enough with the razor.. christ.. have the Moto design guys been on vac the last two years?
lol.. So I don't know what the issue is.. I have never used Windows DRM music.. neither should anyone else..
I agree wholeheartedly that the pop port sucks.. however you did mention its 2007..so why are you still using a wired headset? :) The only other thing the pop port is used for is the fm radio.. and if you need to use your phones radio then you deserve having to use the pop port.. :)
"..OS and lack of the vast third party software library enjoyed by PalmOS and Windows Mobile makes S60, and subsequently the E61/62, one step forward three steps back."

Hmm, funny but when I go to handango, which I think is a prety well known handheld software store I do find palm has the most software, its also ben around forever, however..if I do click on a motorola Q (Windows Mobile 5.0) I get a paltry 190 choices..and if I put in the E62 (S60 v3) I get a slightly more respectable 355, so I am confused at your statement.. also just OS wise Windows Smartphone has a total sw catalog (at handango) that is one -third the size of Symbian. Please keep your FUD to a dull roar.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
