Yeh.. not sure why this is news.. L4D2's release date has always been Friday in the UK. Just like every other game release (excluding some super special launches, like MW2), and the Americans get it on the Tuesday.

Just like Assassin's Creed 2. Out today in the US, friday here.
I have to admit.. i bought the Ezio costume, but only so i could make a screenshot to look like i'm going to take him down.. just like: http://twitpic.com/p8ri7/full
RDC is what i use. CoRD has way too many little niggly issues with the clipboard for me to use it daily.
I said they can't pull it..

Because they have to give us LCE purchasers what they promised, but unless they generated a unique code for every LCE purchaser again which downloaded the theme (which would be way too time consuming), allowing everyone to download is the next best thing.
They won't pull this, they can't.

The Limited Edition VIP code which came in the LCE box was supposed to download this theme, but didn't, so they sent everyone with LCE in game a message with the URL to download this.

As xbox.com doesn't know who has forza VIP membership, they can't enforce it any other way.
Oh dear, Marmot.. I couldn't help but imagine you putting on sunglasses and the CSI Miami opening theme playing when i read that.

See what you've done to me, Joystiq?! :(
Comment :D I love things. Though i miss the days of post it notes all over my computer screen..
I think that this was a nature evolution. It kinda started with Fifa 2009's Ultimate Team earlier this year which introduced "Downloadable Consumables" on XBL, things you can download (and pay for) more than once and the game can consume.

This is an addition. Not something that you used to get for free.. Not that this will stop the barrage of comments hating on EA's money making tactics.
Been using the iPhone app for a little while now, after studying at a welsh uni, it's nice to have a simple way to learn the basic phrases! Definitely recommend it, especially for 99cents/59p.
Not really a map, but its Road to Ruin that i'm desperate for!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
