Music servers are definitely the wave of the future. If audiophiles can drag themselves away from their LPs I'm sure they will snatch up plenty of these.
I got back from BestBuy with my new V3, eager to get the new Yahoo! Go...only to be told that it wasn't currently available. What is it with these limited-release products? Google started this whole damn mess with their Gmail service. I'll be damned if I am going to wait 3 years before I can get Yahoo! Go without being a close personal friend of Terry Smel.
If you want to help VA get airborne sign their online petition to the FAA @ www.virginamerica.com Personally I don't want another glitsy airline with lots of perks (some of which going to the lucky few in 1st class). As long as the flight attendants are friendly and the seat is comfortable, I'm happy.
Has Sony abandonded 4-pin iLink connections for 6-pin Firewire? Could Firewire 800 be waiting in the wings?
Oh my God...that is too funny...it's like getting a free can opener when you buy a computer!
I would get one in a heartbeat if I had $15,000 to flush down the toilet in repairs...
I really believe this is the wave of the future for computer interaction. When you think about how archaic the keyboard and mouse are for working with a computer; having direct access through the brain opens up amazing frontiers. Imagine composing music by "hearing" the song in your head. Or making an animated movie by recording what goes on in your minds eye. Those may seems far fetched, but even writing a novel by thinking the words will increase productivity and creativity.
What, that's it? That's all? Van Damn! Where's the new video iPod? Where's the PDA? iPod Hi-Fi? I thought the iFi from Klipsch was the last word on hi-fi for the iPod. Kind of a disappointment...
I had this idea before...next we need a wristwatch sized ipod with skin conductivity
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
