sure why not :)
but it's still a version of the verizon UI, which is still crap no matter how much you shine it.
for all intents and purposes.
Yeah don't be so arrogant engadget, not every mobile user is the type that reads these blogs and is up on the new technologies and handset upgrades. This is a great idea to kick start revenue streams on older networks that are still alive and kicking.
To #5, you can do that. That's exactly how i have mine set up. Just tell the ps3 in the settings to output over optical (or whatever the exact setting says) for audio, and HDMI for video. I've heard people say this before, why is there this misconception? It's not hard to decipher in the settings.
I'm a Virginia Tech alumnus. I feel showing that photo is in poor taste, no matter what the context of the article is in. I have issues with seeing him anywhere in the media at this point in time, and I feel there are far better photographs that could've been used to illustrate the context of this article. VT's own website has great photographs of memorials, students in vigils, or even generic shots of campus that would've made the same point come across.

I come to joystiq to read about my hobby, which I partake in to get my mind off the stresses in life. This is the last place I'd want to see that photo.
I'm pretty sure it used to stand for "the Toy Headquarters."
GILBERT ARENAS IS NOT SERIOUS! HE WAS JOKING! Get your heads out of your mother's basement for a minute and understand that the man isn't serious.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
