Samsung is the largest consumer electronics company in the world. Hyundai use to be the largest Chaebol in Korea but now its Samsung and by a large margin. Also they've already surpassed all the Japanese electronic makers. People don't realize just how big Samsung is. They're market capitalization is valued at $110.24 billion and their share prize is around $685. They're the leader in LCD&Plasma TVs, DRAM memory, and flash memory. Who do you think supplies the flash memory for Apple's iphones? Samsung. Also what lcd panels do you think Sony uses in their TVs? Samsung. Samsung is also the 2nd largest maker of cell phones. They recently over took Motorola and is now behind Nokia. When you combine Samsung and LG's market share in TVs and cell phones they hold about 50% of the market in both products. So bascially, a small country that isn't even a whole country produces 50% of the world TVs and cell phones.
Also a lot people don't know is that South Korea has steadily increased their military expertise. Samsung Techwin builds the K-9 self-propelled 155 mm howitzer and its Variants T-155 is currently deployed by Turkey. The K-9 is the the front runner in Australia's bid for a self-propelled 155 mm howitzer.

Korean Airline isn't just a airline, they do major maintenance&refurbishments for US and Japanese military aircraft like the F-15 , F-16, and A-10.

Hyundai isn't just a auto manufacturer and making cars was a after thought for them. Hyundai was originally a construction and shipbuilding company. By the way they're the no.1 shipbuilding company in the world. They also built Korea's first Aegis Destoryer and recently agreed with Lockheed Martin to build Aegis Destoryers for export. They also have a company that builds main battle tanks for the ROK military. So they do have extensive knowledge in the defense industry.
I wouldn't worry about it Hyundai has extensive experience in the defense market. For example, Hyundai-Rotem builds main battle tanks for the ROK military.

They currently build the K1 main battle tank(designed by General Dynamics which builds the M1 Abrams). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YE_tljPOX8

They will also be building the new K2 battle tank and Turkey has decided to use technology from the K2 to build their own main battle tank.

Also Hyundai Heavy Industries built Korea's first Aegis Destoryer the KD-3 King Sejong the Great. Recently, Lockheed Martin and Hyundai will be building smaller medium-sized Aegis Destoryers for export.

In Korean the presidential office is called Cheongwadae and it translates to The house of blue tiled roof. It actually has a blue tiled roof and site which the current presidential office is located was originally royal villa built by King Sukjong of the Goryeo dynasty in 1104. The site was also official residence of the Governor General of Korea during Japan's annexation of Korea. Rhee Syngman the first president of the Republic of Korea called the residence the Gyeongmudae. It was later changed to Cheongwadae by President Yun Bo-seon.
I would love to see this car with supercharged Lambda V6 or Tau V8 from Hyundai. Maybe for a entry level version they could use a highly modified turbo Theta engine.
The videos you've seen are videos made by a Korean online car community called babodream their website is www.babodream.co.kr. You can check out their youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/babovisual.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
