I'm from the US, and other than a catchy tune by Dean Martin that calls them "pizza pie" (That's Amore!), I don't know anyone who actually calls them pizza pies. There are numerous restaurants that do call them that, and it isn't an unheard of expression. Also, the term is actually rather logical. A pie being a crust with stuff on top of it. Sounds remarkably like a pizza! Other than the toppings, and the fact that pizza doesn't really use pastry dough, they are conceptually similar.

Funny, I don't recall Microsoft saying anything about this...so, I guess no stone was cast...was it?

Eventually, people are going to realize that Apple is creating a pattern of inferior testing standards. That, coupled with a poor warranty, doesn't bode well for customers.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
