Does anyone know of a way to make a smart playlist containing the most played songs in a week (or any other given time period really)? I've been trying to figure out a way to do this for a long time. It would be great to have a playlist of something like the 50 songs I've been listening to most in a week or a month. The problem is, it just goes to play count, so any songs with high plays counts that I've played even just one in the week make it onto the playlist. Thoughts?
It's too bad this show insists on getting rid of the best actor on it in Adrian Pasdar (Nathan). We don't know for sure if he's dead yet, but it'd be kind of lame to bring him back from the dead twice. I can't believe both seasons have ended with him dying!! Ugh!

At least Nikki is gonzo.

And by the way, I don't understand the fascination with Elle. She is extremely annoying, and I think poorly acted. Her feud with Claire just reminds me of Mean Girls...it's absurd.
I'm saying the assassin was Claude, the invisible man. Mark my words. He's back baby.
A Cougar is the exact same thing as a Puma. So it can't be that.
Any word on whether or not this phone will be showing up on AT&T??
Do you think there'll be a price drop in the Premium any time soon?
@18 - I was thinking the same thing. A Vietnam game could be amazing. Cool weapons, cool environment, cool battles. Only problem is the Americans didn't win so the end of the game might be kind of a buzzkill.

In WWII games we're the heroes...
What a cool giveaway.
I can't believe the amount of people that have been whining about the Zune posts lately. This is most certainly something Apple fans should be interested in.

The Zune is taking aim at the iPod's spot of most widely used player by a software super-duper-giant. I for one like to hear about the serious competition the iPod is getting and this most certainly counts as such. Also, I like to see the applications threatening iTunes. If this new Zune Marketplace was any good, you may see a large number of Windows users abandoning iTunes and getting their hands on this. There are numerous other connections this (and the preceeding articles) have with Apple, iTunes, and the iPod.

Seriously, people need to quit whining. It's laughable how much of a drama queen #11 is. "Oh my! Another Zune post! You've lost all your credibility!" You're a joke, pal. Honestly, this is the best place for Apple related news. They do a solid job and in any event, it's not like you're paying for the service these folks provide for you.

Dan, nice article.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
