The iPhone can't touch an N97, or any other E or N-series phone for that matter. S60 is starting to age, and it's still better. Take everything the iPhone can do, and add true multitasking, easily replaceable battery, a good camera.... the list goes on. I mean, Nokia has had 30fps video in their phones for many years. Apple is seriously just catching on? What a sad state of affairs for them. I think their constant negativity toward Microsoft isn't far from coming back to bite them. It's almost as though their entire business model is based around image, rather than actual functionality. Oh... wait... that's all they have.
The guy wants to make some money, what's the big deal? An off-contract - not unlocked - iPhone 3G is 700 bucks. One guy sells a limited-run phone for 1000 and engadget complains about "an over abundance of capitalism." If someone wants to pay 5000 bucks, let them. Either way, it's not really your problem or your money. Pathetic, man... really.
You guys better just stop now. I mean, think of the resources you had to waste to get the energy to type these needless replies. First you had to eat something, then you had to breathe - releasing CO2 (gasp!). Then you had to expend that energy. I, personally, am disgusted at the gross display of the destruction of our natural resources. Shame on you.
The screen transitions are an effect that can be turned on and off. On the N85, for some reason the default setting is off. Since the E71x is also Feature Pack 2 I'd guess that it's probably set to off by default as well.
Me please!
I wonder why the "Z" and "Y" buttons are switched... Next thing you know we'll be getting a special Dvorak edition. Fix those buttons and ditch that weird divider and this looks like a pretty cool phone.
Quick, someone call Daft Punk, their robo-baby is loose!
What holiday? MLK day? Lincoln's Birthday? Holiday is a bit vague. If you mean Christmas, just say so.
I like the way you think!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
