You have no idea how much I want to win this. :-)
Definitely want to win this. I shall use it to play all of my favorite Christmas music. :-)
I like pretty much all Christmas songs, but I can't stand Baby It's Cold Outside. Blech. :-)
Today just became the best day ever. I never thought it would happen and I'm incredibly excited...I have to think of somewhere to go to test it. :-)
This looks really nice! I had the original 8100 for two years and loved it. This looks like a truly worthwhile successor. As much as I love and now prefer Android, I do sometimes miss my little Pearl. :-)
Well this is super exciting. It's stuff like this that I find encouraging...even if for some reason Google doesn't push out an official update for the G1, the awesome mod community will have our backs.
All good in central Florida, too.
That is a very interesting idea, and probably true. Though, average consumers are used to VCRs, where fast forwarding through commercials was normal. So maybe they don't know about it, maybe they just don't care. Interesting thought.

As for me? All skipped. I'm actually going to spend the afternoon tomorrow setting up Media Center to skip commercials for me automatically. :-)
This is exciting! If the hackers are able to do it, clearly Google and T-Mobile can make it work. This gives me high hopes that we'll seen an official 2.0 update for the G1 sooner or later :-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
