I dont know about the laws pertaining to e-books, but is it possible to create your own ebook by scanning the book, or does an ebook have to be published by the publisher? Im sure you cant just make a bunch of copies of one book, but are there ways to get around waiting for the publisher to make an electronic form of a book, like if these guys wanted to completely digitize their collection.

Wow i just downloaded the Zune 3.0 software and among other things, the Now Playing screen is amazing! Between just the graphic goodness and the mixed view, its great. all the other features are great too
Its too bad. Ive met the guy and i know his kids and people who work for him. hes a really nice guy and donates alot to our school, our whole entire theater department would be nothing without him, not to mention all the other donations hes made to the school.

no but there are signs for things like wearing your seatbelt (at least here in california). everybody knows that murder is a crime but for things like talkin on the phone while driving or not wearing your seatbelt which might not seem like a ticketable offense to many, they need to put signs up to let people know.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
