Don't forget, GPS in North America can also use WASS to get that kind of accuracy. Well, not necessarily 6 feet but very close. Most modern receivers use the WASS data to improve accuracy.

I just checked again and now it's showing 15,000 total parties.....Was I hallucinating last night?
If you look at the list of parties, it looks like there are more than 160,000 confirmed Windows 7 House Party hosts.

That's a lot of parties!
Why low rank for WinMo haters?

I just quit WinMo for good. Wouldn't go back if you paid me.

Of course the demo looks good but I predict it's going to start dragging just as soon as you install some apps and start using them.
I believe it's an xkcd reference. It's sort of a way to blow someone off and make fun of them at the same time.
If you like "standard" aspect ratio screens, check out the HP LP1965. Best 19" monitor around for the price. I'm currently running two of them on Ergotron arms. Best setup I've ever had.

uh, luddite means someone who's anti-technology.
I think RIM was going for extra battery life when they left out 3G.
It's actually quite a bit thinner than the old curve.

Also, I think leaving out 3g was a decision made to increase battery life which at 15 days of standby, is considerably better than the bold. And with the addition of wifi, you rarely miss having 3g.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
