Miles, I bought a new motherboard recently. Vista wouldn't boot, so I formatted and reinstalled. Worked for one day, then started acting up again. After that, I couldn't even reinstall. Long story short, it turns out that my PCI firewire card was causing the problems and everything worked quite well after I removed it.

So maybe, just maybe, not all the problems in the world are caused by Windows Vista. Don't give up, and don't blame Windows just because that's the "cool" thing to do.
There are four. What features are in what versions are very clearly marked on the back of Vista boxes. If ANYONE is having trouble with this, it's because they're stupid.
Even these "casual gamers" have DVD players. Let's face it, everyone has a DVD player. If the machine can do it then it probably should right out of the box, but honestly, who really cares?
It looks cool, I like it. As for the people saying it's too much: guys, two lights. Count them. Two. Like I said, it looks neat. Well done.
Hey other Aaron, quit stealin' my name :)
Smart move, I wonder why it wasn't done sooner...?
It's wrong, of course, but damn, it would be hard to resist seeing the opportunity to make that much and not act on it...
Dammit, that's twice now, what's with you guys??? Dominos pizza rocks whether you want to admit it or not. There is no room for argument here. Seriously.
Hey Jimmy, it was just a joke...
Haha, yes... sad but true. While I do indeed like the machine, the truth is the software is a bit lacking. I do believe it will get better though; some good things are on the way.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
