i tried to use an app like this once, but i fell asleep before it could do anything. ;)
yeah, it's a crap shoot, but occasionally you get a really good deal. i had a 15" PowerBook G4 screen die with only a month left on the AppleCare plan and apple replaced it with a brand new MacBook Pro for free, and which was eligible for AppleCare. I'm SO getting AppleCare for the new MacBook.
missed this in the theaters, and interested to see how the anaglyph 3d looks on tv.
i have my parents in my address book with their full names, but add a nickname of "mom" or "pop" that way i can type them as i like in Mail.app but if i print an envelope the actual name is used.
i would podcast stories that i make up spontaneously but pass off as true.
i'd use it for shipping photos to clients
i'd have to go with a Palm device, note the rounded Centro style buttons and grey block on the Fn key next to the model's thumb? totally Palm. hope they can ship it before they go bankrupt.
it's not going to win any beauty prizes, but if it helps simplify the remote madness, i'm game!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
