The retracting hood ornament was originally done to comply with European laws to reduce impalement of a pedestrian in an accident.
Look on eBay...you can buy one for $3500 from some guy in California (of course) who's had it since February 2009...when it cost him $5K+

But at least this is a full-featured phone, not like those last-generation Nokia/Vertu gewgaws favored by Middle Eastern taste masters.
Is it me or do most of these just sound vile?
Well, a Hummer seems redundant as a police vehicle. I mean we already know they are spectacularly under-endowed...meter maids with guns.
Ugly *ss. It's like a hot guy with no butt. That's all I'm saying...
The only coins I leave are those that are returned in change from the bill.
The NM Edition will cost $105,000...better make that a Platinum AMEX card...
Yes, I have been using induction for two years and I love it. I would never have tried it except the building I live in doesn't have gas and traditional electric sucks.

It has prefect temperature control and doesn't heat up the kitchen nearly as bad as traditional heat sources.

Personally, they should outlaw regular electric and force everyone onto induction.

That said, cookware makers are as much to blame for the slow pick-up on induction. NONE of the majors have an induction package and most don't even make induction capable pots. They are oblivious.

I was lucky, my Italian pans were already induction ready.
I'm sure all the clothing items are XXL sized.
I'm sure Chrysler (owner of all things AMC) would be willing to sell them the Matador nameplate.

Hey, maybe they can get a package deal for Pacer and Gremlin too...???
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
