Who knew that "Project Dark" was really a metaphor for total service blackout?!?

Got to hand it to the marketing department for originality-didnt see that one coming at all.......
Anyone else thinking about Johnny Neumonic on this one?!? "Give me a pair of those gloves and Thompson Eye Phones"...LOL!
Anyone who has used one of these and held it in their hand (I was lucky to do so) has made one comment-"It is amazing!"....No dis on the Iphone, they just finally have legit competition....good for Palm and Sprint-a solid win...even a bar raiser....
You can use the Quicktime on a Mac with either Quicktime Pro or the free codec package known as Perian, which has a ton of codecs in one package. I have not tried this package on a Windows yet but the flying birdies played on my mac like a charm...hope that helped!
The Airport Extreme is the best for that versatility and I too use it for Linux, Win 7 and Mac-not problems, tons of features and 99 percent uptime. Even have my ReadyNAS on it. It is the best-so quit whining about it being Apple-it is a fine product, period.
developers, developers, developers.....WOOOH!
AWESOME! What else do you do when you have run out of challenges as a millionaire super-geek? Celebrity Apprentice knew he would destroy those schmucks, so it was DWTS the whole way! GO WOZ! As long as that annoying comedian girlfriend of his stays far away, it will be smash-hit!
OK.....It is a F U G L Y phone! But the crazy, retro PTT people will buy it. I know it is G to tha H-etto, but those on the IDEN will turn back the clock to 1996 and buy that momma-that "galactic", gut-wrenching, hurl-inspiring moto POS. Think of it as "classic"-classic poopy in a box....
Laugh all you want but you will not believe how many PTT people will have this phone. I know it's not how high tech this crowd likes to rock, myself included. Still, whatever you think this thing will sell a ton-count on it, whether you think it is fugly or not! Sprint Nextel will sell a ton and wait if Boost gets it with their unlimited 50 buck plan-it will be fulgy genius...
Tough times-Hesse knew it has a tough road and the economy makes it worse. I think the Pre will launch fine, but I fear that an unsure workforce and a disruptive environment at Sprint will hamper the launch to some degree-at least potentially. As long as the phone and OS are good, it will be a great thing for Sprint in the long run. Pray for good battery life and great sales Sprint faithful. Time is running out....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
