I would love to get my hands on an iPhone for the sole purpose that I haven't ever had to money to buy an iPod and this would solve my problem instantly.
This phone IS cool, I just got one yesterday...EDGE is actually pretty fast, though Cingular never mentioned to me that 3G is still being built in my area! Eh, that's not a problem, they promised on the phone today to get me some 3G coverage soon...anyway back on topic. The screen is simply beautiful, quite big I must say. The camera is very clear in the pictures I've taken (though it doesn't really like low-light).

Those who've seen the Phonescoop video review where the guy says "there's a landscape mode, but it doesn't really change the video size"...let me tell you: that is the truth, if you're watching a clip direct from Cingular. If you go to a site such as, say...www.zoovision.com and watch some of the video streams there, it plays full screen on landscape mode!

@kirbo20-Is there a way to know if the phone you have has that problem?
This would be really nice to finally see on Cingular, especially seeing as they just (today) released 3G in my area, and we here in the US need some new technology. I tried an LG CU500 today (now, granted, I hate LG, they dominate the market that stupid Verizon sells to) but I must say, it was amazing to have internet that fast on a cell phone...lol..I sure hope video calling gets here soon, Cingular is so close yet the support just isn't there quite yet...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
