Monster cables?

Try Van Den Hul...

But yeah, they look awesome but actually use Samsung panels with some clever circuitry thrown in. If it were me, I'd buy a 60in Kuro and put it on a motorised bracket, de-bezel it and match it with a Bowers and Wilkins MT30 speaker set (you won't really see the amp so won't spec it here), and have change.
O2 have told me that release time in the UK is 6pm if that helps.
Jonno, try Palringo (free from the App store), its a totally free mobile messenger app that allows access to Googletalk, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Talk, ICQ, AIM e.t.c e.t.c all in one place.
Pink Nano...

For Valentines day.
To be frank, I was really looking forward to getting an iPhone when it was first accounced but looking at the spec list and what it has against whats out there right now, it doesn't quite cut it.

First off are the ridiculous tariffs that go with it, £35 for 200 minutes and 200 texts, and unlimited data. The problem is the phone uses 2.5G, which isn't quite 3G, and then it doesn't do MMS.

I own a Sony Ericsson P1i, which isnt multitouch based, but then we have 3G, a far superior camera, Memory Stick expandability, non crippled bluetooth (supports A2DP), a hard QWERTY keyboard, FM radio, Walkman 2.0 AND additional apps.

iPhone just doesnt cut it.
I wanna get an iPhone! :( Please reward the UK reader who has to wait ages to be charged double what you get for half the cash pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaasee!

Please please please? Please?

Optimus style Home Theatre remotes do exist...

Have a look at the Philips pronto series or the Logitech Harmony remotes as described here.

I can see Sony allowing wifi access to an internal config page that can function as a remote. I have a Home Cinema remote with a wifi extender and can see this being used to control PS3.

I don't see why people that have spent so much money on high end home cinema equipment would be so preturbed at having saved nearly £500 on existing Blu Ray players in exchange for having to use a separate remote, and gaining a next gen gaming system that also acts as a wifi 'information hub' complaining so much! Its actually better for the grand consensus of users (not everyone has their own home cinema rig with a universal remote).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
