Mine went out the window one day this past summer, like 3 days after it was inspected ! Then NYS raised our taxes and the legislature took raises ! Nice going NYS, you know how to deal with a recession !
Luigiian, Im w/you on that one. If the people don't know you personally than they have no idea why you have a truck. Try hauling a hundred bales of hay in your WRX or Camry or Taurus for that matter. If you live in an area where the roads are hardly plowed, dirt and you need to haul "stuff" than nothing less than a truck will do. Just my .02, Happy safe driving all!
I drive these cars(on the job) and I feel this car is better than the CV. There are some issues, sightlines(use the mirrors),low roof line(look up) and somewhat smaller inside(front, screw the back seat guy) I'm trying to lose weight! They seem to handle better too. Now the issues we had were the squealing brakes(fixed),tranny (fixed) and the latest that just popped up was sand in the engine block that traveled to the heater core, they fixed that too. And lastly there is a issue w/the shifter,it does in fact show in R or D but it is actually in between. Not a big deal when you drive to and from work and shift 4 times a day,but when you constantly shift, stops, etc for 8 or 10 hours it is a problem, mainly on the tranny when it gets a few neutral drops a shift x3.
Anyway,thats my take and .02
Pal, didn't ask if Buick is Chinese made now(prices should be cheaper right?!),I asked if anyone is tired of seeing the headlines here and other blogs stating such like it's some huge milestone and major achievement. The only purpose of the China connection is profits for whomever does business w/the Communists. IMHO, it hurts 99% in the US and damages the industrial infrastructure in this country,b/c when the Chinese govt kicks em all out and takes "their" factories,we'll be standing around w/our dicks in our hands. May sound like doomsday stuff but look at the writing on the wall. Just my .02 Pal.
Anyone else tired of hearing, seeing Chinese Buick concept blah blah blah ?
"I was a union worked for 14 or 15 years. The workers are lazy " What did you do for those 14 or 15 years, did you try to change things, extol the virtues of hard work to your fellow workers? I won't say that there are lazy "union" workers, there are lazy workers in private sector, fast food etc. My point is you cannot paint every union worker w/the same broad stroke, unless you are admitting to being lazy for 14 or 15 years while enjoying the benefits of union contracts. There is a wave of media that is trying to blame unions for the cause of the weak economy in US,common sense(I would hope) would see thru that. Every year corporate America tries to erode the workers rights for their monetary benefit. That's great if you are a stockholder but what about the rest of us (99%)? Just something to think about, there is a lot of blame to go around, don't heap it on the working. Just my .02...let the flaming begin!
Teen driver said...
"What I'm saying is who decided that adults were more competent than teens at driving and talking?"
Why that would be the insurance industry son, they're real smart like. Just try to make a claim though!
Good law though, way too many distractions, there needs to stricter driver education...MANDATORY,it works elsewhere, just my .02
I find tinsel distracting...
I wear a Gucci knock off from Times Square circa 1986,looks good, stopped as soon as I turned the corner!

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
